OUR MISSION
At the Bilingual Foundation of the Arts, our mission is to celebrate and preserve the richness of Hispanic culture while fostering unity through the power of bilingual theater. We bring to life the classic and contemporary works of Spain and Latin America, inspire pride in heritage, and nurture the next generation of Latino artists. By sharing our artistic treasures with diverse communities, we bridge cultural divides and carry forward a legacy of connection, education, and cultural celebration.
In the footsteps of visionaries, BFA stands as a testament to the enduring power of art, culture, and the human spirit.
OUR VISION
BFA: Where a legacy of culture and creativity continues to illuminate hearts and minds, for the love of the arts knows no bounds.
Our vision for the next 50 years is to create a permanent artistic home in Los Angeles—the Carmen Zapata and Margarita Galban BFA Theater—a space where cultures unite through the celebration of Hispanic heritage. This theater will stand as a beacon of cultural diversity, artistic excellence, and legacy preservation. Through collaborations with universities and community partners, we will ensure the enduring study and appreciation of our founders' contributions. Together, we will transform this vision into a vibrant reality, inspiring generations to embrace and celebrate the richness of Hispanic artistry and storytelling.
